EFR Instructor

The PADI Emergency First Response Instructor course builds on the skills of the EFR courses you have acquired as an emergency responder: CPR, primary care, secondary care and Care for Children.

The EFR Instructor course focuses on developing your demonstration skills and teaching them to others. The program prepares you to organize, market and teach the EFR course for divers and non-divers alike.

Learn how to structure a course and what the requirements are for you and your role as an EFR Instructor.

You will learn different techniques to teach skills in an EFR course and to evaluate and optimize student performance.

In our fully media equipped and air-conditioned classrooms we have an AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) and oxygen equipment, as well as first aid dolls (adults, children and babies) and various types of protective and dressing materials available to provide you with comprehensive and professional training.

The course lasts 1 day.

Requirements:

  • Training in EFR primary care and secondary care (or an equivalent certificate including CPR from another institution), taken within the last 24 months.
  • Minimum age: 18 years
  • No diving certification required
